PENGEMBANGAN STRATEGI PENDIDIKAN KRISTEN ABAD KE-21 DALAM KONTEKS PERUBAHAN SOSIAL DAN DIGITAL
Abstract
Perubahan sosial yang cepat dan perkembangan teknologi digital membawa tantangan sekaligus peluang bagi Pendidikan Kristen abad ke-21. Pendidikan Kristen tidak lagi cukup menggunakan cara tradisional, tetapi perlu mengembangkan strategi yang relevan dengan kehidupan peserta didik di era digital, tanpa meninggalkan nilai-nilai iman Kristen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui studi pustaka dengan menganalisis buku, jurnal, dan dokumen terkait pendidikan, teologi, serta transformasi digital. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Pendidikan Kristen perlu mengintegrasikan iman dan teknologi secara bijaksana, memperkuat karakter Kristiani, serta mengembangkan kompetensi abad ke-21 seperti berpikir kritis, kreativitas, kolaborasi, dan komunikasi. Selain itu, pendidik berperan sebagai fasilitator pembelajaran sekaligus teladan iman, termasuk dalam ruang digital. Pendidikan Kristen harus mampu beradaptasi dengan perubahan zaman tanpa kehilangan identitas teologisnya. Dengan demikian, strategi yang kontekstual dan transformatif diharapkan dapat membantu lembaga dan pendidik merancang pembelajaran yang relevan, bermakna, dan sesuai dengan dinamika sosial serta perkembangan teknologi digital.
Rapid social change and the development of digital technology bring challenges as well as opportunities to 21st century Christian Education. Christian education is no longer enough to use traditional means, but it is necessary to develop strategies that are relevant to the lives of learners in the digital age, without abandoning the values of the Christian faith. This research uses a qualitative method through a literature study by analyzing books, journals, and documents related to education, theology, and digital transformation. The results of the study show that Christian education needs to integrate faith and technology wisely, strengthen Christian character, and develop 21st-century competencies such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication. In addition, educators play the role of facilitators of learning as well as role models of faith, including in the digital space. Christian education must be able to adapt to the changing times without losing its theological identity. Thus, contextual and transformative strategies are expected to help institutions and educators design learning that is relevant, meaningful, and in accordance with social dynamics and digital technology developments.
